About "Fjords Frontiers: Digging into the Future of Climate Change"

An international research team, led by Eric Capo and Erik Björn from Umeå University, traveled to Norway to investigate how aquatic ecosystems are affected by climate change. In this documentary, you’ll follow the team to the Rossfjordvatnet fjord. By studying the water column and the underlying sedimentary archive, they explored the fjord’s microbial diversity and its role in transforming mercury into the neurotoxic methylmercury.

Welcome!
